  • How do i get that sound?

Me and a few of my friends are playing a small gig and they want to play Def Leppard's "Photograph." I figured i would use my electric drum set instead of my acoustic so that i could get the drum machine sound that DL used on their album. I don't know all about the different effects and stuff but i was wondering if i could get that wooshing sounding snare drum that they have at the beginning of the song. I don't know if that's an effect or if its a sound you can assign to a drum pad or if its even possible on the drums. If there is any way to do this on a Roland V Pro set with a Td-10 sound module, please tell me!

Look for the 'Reverse Snare' sound on whatever module you're using. Experiment with the pitch, the ambience and effects. You should get the sound you want.
