  • Mixed Kits?

By "Mixed" - I don't mean brand of vDrum - but mixing real drums with V-drums. I really like how expressive a real hi hat is - and the fact is they are just not that loud...

So things like HH or Ride mixed with a v-drum kit for non-headphone use...?

    Thoughts?

of course this make sense in the studio, i had the setup "real brass, cymbals and hihat with electronic kick and toms" snare occasionally.
pros: fat sound and separation. (separat snare for extensive reverb mixing)
cons: no midi editing, not so "glued" all in one acoustic experience and a bit more complex monitor mixing.
