  • Roland TD-11 pad compatibility

Okay, so I've seen the wiki page and find one detail puzzling me...

It indicates that the TD-11 can work with 3-Way pads with this note:

"Three-way (piezo/switch/switch) inputs can be used to connect a three-way cymbal like the CY-12R/C, CY-13R or CY-15R, or one non-three-way pad. On the TD-4, TD-10 with TDW-1, TD-20, TD-30 and TMC-6, three-way cymbals can be connected using two designated Piezo/Switch inputs. Connecting them to any two stereo inputs on any module works with some limitations and is not officially supported."

NOT sure what that means. I'm considering getting a CT-15R, which is a 3-way pad. Will it work as designed with the TD-11?

    thanks!

You mention a CT-15R in the last paragraph. I couldn’t find any reference to such a cymbal. Would it be a typo where you intended to write CY-15R ?

if so, yes, the CY-15R will work as intended on a TD-11
