  • Why is the DrumKAT hihat input on the right side?

So, I'm a guitarist who has freshly taken up e-drums (a DrumKAT and a Roland TD-9 module) so I'm not an expert on drumming, but... Shouldn't the DrumKAT's hihat input be on the left side and not the right? Why did they do it that way?

I'm playing the thing right in front of me, maybe they expected everybody to have it to the left of their acoustic kit?

Don't know, but if you still care just email Alternate Mode, they are about the quickest and nicest company I've ever interacted with.

The email they make public is [email protected] but for this question, Connie will probably hand you off to Mario who I think does actual technical product design - he also has a YouTube channel where he demos all the equipment and talks about how to use it.
