    Hi Hat Controller.........HELP


    I'm using an FD7 controller with a TD8 module.It feels like the distance on the pedal between open and closed is about 1/4 of an inch. Is there a way to increase the travel for the trigger between open and closed or do I just need to get used to this?

    Loosen the wing nut on the top and adjust it accordingly.

      No, he's correct - the distance is literally longer than 1/4", but feels pretty short compared to a real hi-hat stand. Loosen the wingnut and pull the board up as high as it can go and retighten the nut. Other than that, you'll just have to get used to it. I think the actual throw is probably an inch or so.

        Thanks for the reply guys. I guess it will take some getting used to. It is such a short distance. I was hoping it was possible to increase the trigger distance but, oh well
