    Whats you guys thoughts on the best sub 400 E-Drum kit for Beginner at the moment? ideally new not 2nd hand.

    Definitely 2nd hand is the way to go on a budget.

    Fully agreed. try to get Yamaha or Roland gear that Costs 1000 new in good condition used.


    If it has to be new the Yamaha DTX 432 is ok, can be upgraded with different pads/cymbals and has value if you upgrade the whole kit.

    New? Probably the DTX432. Proper kick pad and a 3-zone snare. Use it with the Android / iOS app for many training things etc.,
    Still better to pay a little more and get a second-hand higher module - I know of a DTX5xx second-hand for 465 delivered, for example. That'll come with a 3-zone silicone snare, moving hat, etc.
