  • ANYONE EVER TRY A ROLAND HEAD ON A HART ACU-PAD?

IM a vdrummer for almost a year and a little of the amazment is wearing off, so now Im starting to get all these crazy what if ideas about the ultimate setups mixing and matching products. By the way I own a hart studio ax kit. So anyone ever put a roland mesh head on a hart acu-pad body? Whats the result? I like the feel of the rolands a little better, the harts are kind of stiff for feel. Id have to have a roland pad, a hart pad and a real drum right in front of me to decide what in my opinion is the most realistic for feel.

Hmmm. The "real" drum will likely feel realistic. The others might too. Which one is best, is up to you. Hey, that rhymes.

What I meant to say of the 3 drums I mention,
which of the two v's would simulate the acoustics tension,
Could it be the hart with its double ply mesh,
Or possibly the rolands whos pattends are best,
      Never-the-less its a debate I do seek,
If you know the answer dont hesitate to speak.
      Know what I mean Jellybean.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Thanks for being a good sport. I agree with szvook, but feel to you may differ. Hart comes closest IMHO, or at least is easiest to make close with a little effort.
