FD-8 Hi-Hat Pedal is not working

    FD-8 Hi-Hat Pedal is not working

    My Hi-Hat pedal FD-8 is not working anymore and is unresponsive while closing the Hi-Hat. Need to press really very hard for it to work. I have opened to check and found that the SENSOR has a BLACK mark. There is a "BURNT" like spot just below the screw hole area on the sensor. Attached find the photos and let me know if this SENSOR is damaged.

    I have watched most of the videos online but could not find any solution for my problem. I'm from India and getting these spares will be very difficult.

    There are some dealers on http://www.roland.co.in/ that may be able to help you with a replacement under warranty, or a repair.
