The sound cuts out frequently when playing this specific PD 85 pad. The set is brand new and worked perfectly the first day but now this. I never had V drums so Im hoping its nothing as serious as a broken pad. I've already tried troubleshooting the issue by unplugging the cable and reinserting it, factory resetting the module and even switching the pad with another pad, the problem is specific to this pad. Any insight appreciated

Try tightening the drum head. If it is new you need to get them tight it you can start hitting the cone. Should be in the manual. Let us know if that helps.Equipment: TD-30KV, DW9000 hardware, ROC-N-SOC Throne, Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Amp, JBL EON 615 Powered Speaker, Yamaha MG06X. 1965 Ludwig Super Classic. If it possible to return it,do it.If it's not working after everything you tried already, then it's probably messed up.Where did you buy it?If it was bought new from a store, then they should just replace it.Welcome to Vdrums,These things aren't common but it does happen.PD-85 is a quality product and triggers perfectly-Ken1-td-30module,1-,pd128sbc,3-pd-105,1-pd120wh,2-cy-8,1-td10EXP. module- DDRUM4 SE STEALTH MESH HEAD/BLACK POWDER RACK,2 BEHRINGER 2031A MONITORS,KRK 10"SUB/BEHRINGER 1204 MIXER,VIC FIRTH/VATER

I bought it from Kraft Music (who happen to run this forum) I don't know if I can return it to them or if I have to deal with Roland, but my hopes are that I can get this fixed easily and not have to pack up the entire drum set to return it for one pad. I'm a little concerned that this happened, if this happened now, then it might happen to the other pads. For the money I spent, this was the last thing I was expecting. Regardless these things are awesome and I'm hoping this is just a rare incident.

The last thing that will happen is having to ship everything back,If you have just bought the kit Kraft will certainly do whatever is needed to correct the problem.Talk to them today and make sure you are not open to anything but a replacement. For the money you spent and the quality of the PD-85,this is not acceptable. As I said before, this is rare to get a completely defective brand new pad-Let us know-Ken1-td-30module,1-,pd128sbc,3-pd-105,1-pd120wh,2-cy-8,1-td10EXP. module- DDRUM4 SE STEALTH MESH HEAD/BLACK POWDER RACK,2 BEHRINGER 2031A MONITORS,KRK 10"SUB/BEHRINGER 1204 MIXER,VIC FIRTH/VATER
