VH-13 False Trigger on Foot Close

My VH-13 hi-hats seem to false trigger the bow/edge quite often on foot close. This happens even when the noise cancel on the TD-30 is all the way up on 3. Does anyone else have this problem? I am wondering if this is normal or if the hats have a problem. Thanks!

I had this same problem when I switched from a DW stand to a Pearl. I think that I just adjusted the threshold. It is about a 90% better now.
