  • How to clean pads and remove that white stuff?

    Hello everyone!

May I ask how to clean our rubber pads? My son's set has some white stuff on all the pads and cymbals.

Suggestion 1. Use the search engine. Cleaning Rubber edrum pads has been discussed hundreds of times.

I apologize. I did try to use the search but it was not productive. Perhaps it was because I do not know the correct terminologies. But thanks a lot.

So the consensus is 303 on everything, pads and cymbals. Thanks!

Granted, it is not the best search engine out there. And yes, Formula 303 is the most recommended product from the forum for many years..... J

Where's the best place to get 'em 303s? Didn't find any at my Walmart.

I've just bought it on line in the past. Available from several sites. If you are wanting to just pick it up in a local store you might try Auto parts stores. For example O;Reilly carries it local to me:

I know that Amazon sells 303.
I had wonderful results with plain silicon, that is neutral. Cymbals and pads look like new!
