DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM LEVINE'S WASHINGTON

I have been dealing with Chuck's for a very long time And have to say that I have never had any problems with their Sales or Service When I first got interested in drums I would call them almost every day to find out what was the cheapest drum set they had, and when I bought my first set of E-Drums(Roland Td-7) they gave me the best price in town. In fact in the Washington DC area they are known to give the best price possible. They have been around since the 1960 and all muscians who come to Washington find their way there. I know this is an old post, but I know all of the guys at the drum counter if you have any problems I will be happy to address them for you Who know's I might be able to help

Sorry you had the problem Binary, I know this is an old post, I'm sorry that I didn't respond earlier, but, These are the people that I bought my defective G2's from. Mike in the audio dept. has done everything he could to help me out. In fact I have ended up buying 2 Mackie SRM 450s from him, and decided that I am going to keep 2 G2s. He never questioned helping me and has done what he said he would everytime! I hope you got your problem straightened out with them.

That's funny, I've been doing buisness with them for over twenty years and I've never had a problem of any kind. I've found their prices are the lowest in the country, and the sales staff very knowlegable and friendly. As for selling factory seconds as new, that's a serious charge that I assume you can prove. More touring bands shop there than any place in the country. Have you tried to work out your problem with them, or do you just call them up and shout at them. There is a way to get what you want out of sales people, be patient and calm, try to explain the exact nature of the problem and don't assume they know right off the bat what you're talking about. Is there something I can help you with?

Levine's Washington Music Center is a scam, they rip people off, sell "reconditioned" items as new, add surcharges based on what state you're in (and don't tell you until you find it on the bill).

These people are the worst.
