  • Sensativity for TD8

Has anyone tried to play to TD8 with the sensitivity set high, 11 to 14 successfully without hearing any discrepancies in the sound output?

Yes and no. I was able to adjust the sensitivity that high on my TD-8 without causing any discrepancies in the sound, but the reason I was doing it was to get my Drum Tech and Dauz pads up to par volume-wise with my Roland pads. With the exception of a Drum Tech FAT pedal, I now use nothing but Roland pads, and, for best results, my sensitivity is set nowhere near that high. This is to avoid false triggering, etc....

Yeah, that's what I thought. I have a friend who was experiencing lack of dynamics and wanted to get a second opinion besides mine.

      Thanks for the feedback.
