  • Cable Help...Please

    Happy New Year,
I recently recently purchased several Roland VDrum triggers. Each trigger came with a cable that is far too long for my set-up.
I would like to purchase the same type of cables, but in these lengths 8, 6, 5, 3.
I found 3's and 5's at the Hosa Web-site, but then the sizes jump to 10' or more.
Any brand/store location recommendation where I can get these cables in the sizes I want...or at least close?

    Thanks,
    StephenJ

      Thanks Intruder for the reply.
Would you happen to know if these Hosa cables are the same quality as the Roland pack-ins?

Yep the same. Make sure you get only trs on both ends.
If you are in US try Sweetwater.com or similar site. No tax, free shipping.
Kraft music is another good source.

does anyone have an opinion or tried hooking everything with 1/8" trs cables and adding the appropriate adapter at the module? I can solder 1/8" at the piezo. Seems more compact and stealthy

You can do that but, experience with those adapters has been bad. They just don't seem to fit tight enough and any movement causes scratching noise. I have found maybe 1 in 3 to actually work!
                Good luck.
