  • TD-3 Hi Hat problem

I just started teaching at a new school and they have a TD-3. At the old school, I used a Yamaha DTX III, so I am setting up a kit for my students. I've pretty much gotten everything sounding good except for one little annoying thing...the Hi Hat "foot" sound...I can't find a way to bring it's volume up to the rest of the set. So I'm stuck with this barely audible "chick" sound and am almost considering using an acoustic HH, but I still think that there must be a way to correct this. The pedal is an FD-8. Any suggestions?
