  • GEN 16 BUFFED BRONZE CYMBALS

Anyone use the new Gen-16 cymbals with there V Drums? I'm thinking about trading in the rubber for the Gen-16.

No. They have their own system. Not module compatible, but you can get the audio from the cymbal unit into a mixer or the audio in of your module.

I forgot.... You could always slap a piezo on a Gen16 cymbal and use it as a regular ecymbal. Jman's conversion box also works well with them.

Well, yes it can - or rather, the Roland module can be played through the Gen16 processor.

Does Jman or anyone else have a video of this. I'd love to see/hear how it plays/sounds

It sounds like any trigger through the module. You allocate sounds the way you would with a CY or other cymbal pad.
