  • Yamaha RHH135 Hi Hat Cymbal trouble

I recently purchased a Yamaha DTX502 Drum Module and a Yamaha RHH135 Hi Hat Cymbal. I am having trouble getting the Hi-Hat to work. All I get is an open sound. Anybody familiar with these units?

    Thanks,
    Brad

Did you go into the module and choose the RHH135 as pad for the HH input?

This will sound stupid... But did you plug in both cables? There's two jacks on the RHH135, one for the pad, one for the control.

Yes both cables are in. I didn't know I had to tell the modual what HH input I was using.
