  • Rototoms for selfmade edrums

Hello there. Does anyone know if it is possible to use rototoms for the modification to edrums as discribed by Beatnik?
    Thanks!

I think it would be really easy to do, since you don't need to mount extra hardware inside the shell, to put the trigger cone in the middle just beneathe mesh head. With a roto tom, you just need to fill up some space with plastic and you can put the trigger cone in the middle on top of the plastic.

I am actually in the process of building an ekit and have used old rotos for the toms. They work great and are a breeze to set up! I will post pics when I have the kit finished. I highly recomend it. It was very easy.
