  • DFHS: please I need some missing files!!

    Hi all!

I have an old installation of the samples of DFHS. I lost everything but the samples I have in an external harddrive, so I only have the sounds, and now I would want to use this samples with Superior 2.0. The problem comes because I ticked (a lot of months ago) the "local soundstats" option when selecting the path to sounds in DFHS. That generated a soundstats file with no good references to all of the sounds. Now that I have set the path to DFHS libraries in Superior 2, a lot of instruments have a * preceding its name and I cannot load them. I think this is caused by the local soundstats files.

For you all that have DFHS, could anyone help me by sending me not-local "soundstats" files for drummer, cocktail and percussionist folders?

    Thanks in advance.

You asked for these files at the toontrack forum and John Rammelt wanted you to confirm the products you own via support. I would suggest you continue to pursue this through the correct channels.

Seems a litte weird to me. Do you have your registration number? They'd be on file in your user area at Toontrack.

I don't know what you're talking about with soundstats.. but would reinstalling help? I guess the Toontrack forum would be more knowledgeable, like said.

Why dance around the word Warez, instead of coming right out and saying it. It's much more entertaining reading when people hurl accusations at each other. This place is very unique regarding this. One poster once offered to "hook us all up with free drum software" in exchange for help. I brought it to the attention to one of the Mods, but nothing happened.

          Cheers.

The right way to handle it is the way it was done here...the benefit of the doubt. However, my first thought was that this was possibly a "fishing trip" for filez. But until we know for sure, the best way to help is to direct him to the manufacturer.

Agreed, although I can't help but think of other forums where this guy would've been raked over the coals.

              Cheers.

                Stop accusing me.

Just answering: "go to manufacturer web" would have been enough.

I usually don't take time to register any software I get. If the answer is in toontrack forum thanks for nothing

I hate to labour the point but you have to register the software to be able to use it

I think you are trying to insult our intelligence. If your software were legal, you would have no issues using the toontrack forum or their tech support. Also, if you have the install disks, you wouldnt be missing any files. The only reason you are missing files is that one of your .rar is corrupt or missing. I was a HUGE pirate years ago. I now buy what I use.
