  • The Big Drum VSTi Audio Comparison [iDea]

Would it be a good idea to come up with a nicely recorded track that isn't too long, but does cover a few different playing styles and stretches across the velocity and articulation range?

We can share this recorded MIDI file, and whoever has certain VSTi software can render an mp3 track so others can hear. I think this would be a nice way to hear how each one sounds next to each other, and it'd take out any thought of a company's demos being a little touched up.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious here, but wouldn't it be a major PITA to remap the Midi File according to your software or set up?

    Cheers.

Our demos are completely raw - unless specified.

In programs like BFD and DFHS, etc. the velocities may need to be adjusted as well if you're sharing a MIDI file.

I could post a MIDI file of one of our demos - tell me which one.
