Hi,
I have a TD-11 and run EZDrummer2 from ToonTrack. It's sort of the "little brother" to SD2 which I also have. I am amazed at how great it plays, and it's just $127 on Amazon. I recommend you try that and you might not need SD2. Important: Make sure you set the "E-Drum Manufacturer" to Roland and you also need to set the HiHat Pedal Correction to "Curve 1". I have it set up with both an FD7/CY5 and another with a VH-11 and they both work extremely well. In fact some of the kits in EZD2 are very close in articulation/response to my old TD-30 with VH-13's. Yup that good and much better response than the TD-11/VH-11. I have learned that the kit you select does matter in terms of HH articulation. Some are better than others, but they're all good.
Let me say this, if you have a TD-11, buying EZD2 will be the best $127 you ever spent. It's that good of a combination. It will be hard for you to ever play the module sounds again.
Let me know if you have any questions, and good luck.
