Yes, you can use a mac to download the expansion. But you need to format your USB Memory Stick on your TD-9, first. Then, you need to copy the .td9 file to the Roland/TD9/ folder on your USB Memory Stick. The file must be named BACKUPx.TD9, where x is the backup number. When you load try to load the file on your TD-9, you will find it by the backup number.
Thank you very much, it really helped me !
But now, how do I do to mix the old kits with new ones ??? I mean all my favorites kits from the original roland, and now from the hodge podge, just to leave those I like ?
Thanks

dont worry that the homepage doesnt list the td9 yet, ask them for the td9 version....this way you can download all the kits from Hodgepodge and toolbox as well, plus the presets, and then mix them to your liking so you get those kits you want...
Otherwise, p 30 of the manual, on the left, you can copy preset kits from the firmware to the user kits on top of hodgepodge one you dont like, or to the 20 extra at the end...
