I have no idea how to do this, can someone walk me though it? When I play the MIDI files in Media player on my PC I can hear the piano notes being played though the headphones attached to my td-6V module so the PC and TD-6 are communicating. I selected a song on the TD 6, and hit record while playing the notes on the PC, when finished I pressed play on the TD-6 and hear nothing. Keep in mind I know almost nothing of MIDI.
What I need to do is get each of those 4 notes assigned to a pad and to sound like a Saxophone.

If you can hear notes from the TD-6V in your phones, I don't understand why they're not being recorded. After pressing REC, you're also pressing PLAY to start the recording? Then STOP before PLAY to playback? (Pressing REC alone doesn't record anything.)

Buy a TD-20 and I will do it for you? Heh. Seriously, I wish I knew more about the TD-6. I hope BarT's suggestion works.

Yes, I am recording, just not the notes. Its probably to late now anyway, the show starts about 11 hours from now. So thanks anyway.
