VExpressions Vinnie Appice Dio Modelled kit ?

Just wondering if the anyone has had the Vexp boys model a kit to order and is it expensive?

The 80's Dio album Holy Diver features a total killer kit and especially the snare that i can't copy...

The Vexpressions Bozzio kit sounds very close to Vinny's with a little tweaking.
I modified using ....

Bass = #57 one ply

Snare = 167 med2st

Toms = 337 - 340 Dry1

We have several kits in the Top 50 Drummers, Giggin Kits and Studio Kits 1 packs that are along the lines of this kit. Davey, which module do you have?

Got a TD12, i have top 50 drummers (pack1)

The rest are acoustic pack and Prog 1 and 2

Vinnie's snare seems to have a crack to it. very powerful.

Honestly, I would have suggested Top 50 2 and both Studio Kits packs if you want kits along these lines. I have not compared them directly with the Dio stuff, but that's what I'd suggest from memory and goal.

Alan, believe it or not I did not know who "Herb" was on my vex pack. I just started playing that kit and it rocks (and so does Primus! )
Anyway, great stuff.

Herb rules. I met him around '91 on the Cheese tour. He's been a favorite since I started following Primus in 1990. I was one of the early true Primus fans and people thought I was nuts. My fiance at the time hated them, but took me to every show and bought me every CD when I was a struggling musician. She was great!

We have a very dry Nicko kit in the Top 50 that is from Number of the Beast. (I think)

I'm hoping to do more "Top 50 expanded" soon.
