  • TD3 sounds on a TD12

    Hey everybody,
I had a TD3 module as a backup that was stolen from my car while I was playing a gig a few months ago
I recently bought a TD12. I know that the TD3's soundset is from the 12/20. I really like the sound of the acoustic kit from the TD3. Does any one know what the settings would be on the 12 to replicate it? Here's a video of the kit sound I'm talking about that I found on Youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ms6VBMzwu4

I really love the toms and snare so if anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate any help

hi laystay - that is a nice little solo on the video, but i am stumped about the TD3 having the same soundset as the 12/20...?

have you tried any of the VEXpressions kits? i'm sure you'll find much there to your liking...

I think you'd be much happier with these than those TD-3 sounds.

You'll need this and a MIDI cable:

Cool, I loaded it up and have been doing some altering to a couple of the kits and am really liking it. I'll have to upload a syx file when I'm finally done. Thanks...

mystic fred, that video is not me and I have been drooling over the Vex Vintage kits, but after buying the new module and needing better cymbals I'm trying to see if I can program some killer kits without breaking the bank.
