    How bout a contest

I was thinking if anyone would be interested in once a month, picking a drummer/song and programming the TD-10 to sound as close to that track as possible to see who comes up with the most accurate set. Upload to this site and compare them. Everyone would win! And variations could be usefull to us all!
    Just a thought...

Oh by the way Vkit Trans works great!

Every minute of spending time to immitate another drummer or his sounds is a waist of time. Go spent this time to improve yourself.

Thats the way to welcome a new member there Putt.
I don't think it is a bad idea especially if a sequence was included. I posted a set with a sequence and I think it would be helpful to see more.

i agree with you, Zigs, this is a good idea.
besides, Puttenvr, dramelot did not suggest we should play exactly like somebody else does, just that it's nice to sound alike. i think a lot of people would like to sound just like his/her favourite drummer (i'm getting my TD-10 in 'bonham'-mode just to rock away from time to time ...). living in holland with its flourishing top-40 circuit , i think you even have to admit some people live of this particular type of sound-searching ...

        just my $0.02

ps: this is my first post, please be nice

            Hey Putt,
If people from Poland are called Poles, why aren't people from Holland called Holes?

Yup, that was some funny ****. As far as reproducing famous drum kits, I think it's a great idea. Being new to edrums, it would be nice to know what popular opinion considers a "perfectly tuned kit".

Whoa, I didn't realize that everyone needs to be shielded from such horrible words as sh1t. Imagine what would become of society if it wasn't for censorship...

I am still learning new things. I like to watch other drummers and learn different approaches to the same songs. I think it is a great idea to post sequences. We might find out who is the most talented drummer on this site.

I believe that immitating other drummers shows versatility everyone has there own style and **** it is not easy to play exactly like other drummers nor is it any fun
