I've successfully loaded single kit
that boingo had sent me but other patches will not load. Do I need to remove td1 expansion then load or is there another way?

Whatever you do, do not remove the exp card. Things stop working when you do that.

You can load what I sent because you are using the TDW-1 software to load a patch formated with the TDW-1. The patches on this site are TD-10 original kits. The new software is looking for TDW-1 features and, obviously, they're not there.

Have you downloaded the TD-10 software from the patches page from this site? You need to use the old software to load the TD-10 saves into your expanded unit.

Once you have done that, using the expanded software, re-save them. That converts the old format to the new. From there on, use the new software.

Some people reported they can't load the old patches no way - no how. Can't guarantee it will work for you. Try it.

Note that both programs use the same extension when you save the file. I keep separate directories to tell them apart.

I just converted a patch called Fat-boy. I didn't change any settings. So stuff that the TDW-1 added, like hi-hat pedal volume, rim click volume, etc would need to be adjusted. And of course, only the first 600 sounds are used. I'll send it to you.
