    Flavor.

It should be noted, Origins wasn't designed to actually "mimic" the recordings. (see what I did there?)

Do we have some favourite kits yet?

Mine is Fleetwood Mac, and I am not a fan of them nor 70's music in general. But FMOB, What an awesome all round kit!

I’m loving the Carter and Weckl kits for light, busy playing (jam band, fusion). Also I was a huge Tears for Fears fan in the 80’s so that’s one of my favorites.

And I’ve been going back and forth between the Gavin DeGraw and HeCountry kits for Christian Contemporary music.

Just wanted to let everyone know I haven't forgotten about doing/adding the Generations follow-up video I mentioned in the intro video. I've had some sinus thing with migraines for almost a week now. As soon as it's gone, I'll get to the Generations follow-up video. Thanks for your patience. - Alan

I'm still waiting on that follow up demo! Hehe

I just managed to snag on time the last 2 vex packs yesterday before that sale was over.

Love watching your demo videos! It's all I want to do with my set is to play along to music.. if I can ever get started! Had it for well over a year now and have the first 2 vex kits and have yet to try those out as well. Other hobbies and young kids with their school stuff and sports take up my time. :/

Winter is here though and time to get playing!

Sorry, I had a bumpy few months. I don't even remember what I was supposed to follow up. lol It was probably kit demos, but I got so sick of dealing with copyright crap, I threw it to the wind for a bit and forgot about it.

Anyway, I am working on something big (video), and then I have a short list of "to-do" videos.

Oh yeah.. copyright! Sucks. Was a great seller of your work and the roland td-50! Cant think of anything better to show off the possibilities of the td-50.

Really the whole reason why I'm hanging on the fence with trying to keep them and live the dream of playing again.. while the wife licks her chops over that pile of cash just sitting their.

Which one is newer out of your four expansions for the td 50? Foundations, infinity, generations or studio x? And which one do you like better honestly?

If you tell me how you'll use it and what you play, I may be able to point you to the best pack for YOU. That's the important part.

I primarily use SD 3 and SDX but for practice and quick spin-ups for fun would you recommend the Infinity and Generations to fill the module? I bought your TD20 kits eons ago and really enjoyed them. I really abhor the factory kits even for practice. I think I read that I can have 99 kits correct minus the one I have setup for VST settings. How large of an SD card do I need. I have some 16gb laying around but I wasn't sure if I needed to order a 32gb.

Actually, that combo is ideally designed to compliment each other. So, it would give you a nice array of both acoustics and artist kits that span a ton of styles, genres and processing styles. When people are looking for a starter combo, that’s the one I usually point to. Your 32gb card will be fine. That’s what I use for all my work. You can see my “creating custom collections” video for how to combine the two packs. (YouTube link below)

                        Hope that helps!.

Thanks Allan. Any chance of a Covid-19 stuck at home drummer sale?

Our next sale isn’t until June... I think.

Just to clarify, I have 16gb cards. Your answer stated I was fine with my 32gb card, but I only own 16gb cards. I wasn't sure if you misread or mistyped What is the typical sale discount? If its substantial I may wait, if it is marginal I will just get them now.

16gb is fine too. Files are not that big.

Our sales are usually 25% off.
