By the way, trigger settings really shouldn't play into this. That's between the player and pad... not the kits. I mean, I see what you're saying, but I highly doubt anyone is pumping them up like that. (unless they have some seriously bad cones lol)

Headphone volumes don't really matter. That's all down to impedance anyway.

as for the 1-3 dB, I'm not sure where you're talking about. The main mixers? Right?

How do you normally monitor? Are you running to a board?
The first initial release had issue, there was setting completely wrong, I had to redo all kits for individual room\ov\reverb and global main mic volume was -4db for room, update was different from initial one, but I asked few people, they told me they don't clip. Yes the main headphone mixers 1db to 3db did not saw difference. I am monitoring direct from Headphone.

There is still few kits need tweak compare to others, but should not clip.

Thanks Chris for the upload. So from your comments, I should copy over all the previous kit?

Thanks, I made all kit to give variation most as possible, now with the big rock kit 1, only changing the instruments like snare\kick you could have others rock kits etc.. that was the goal of all these kits.

I've been using the "Studio" kits pretty often...more often than the VEX kits as it turns out (mostly because the VEX kits are much more wet, I think).

Am I missing the feature that allows you to simply "rename" a kit, or do you have to "new/clone/delete old" to accomplish that?

If I'm not mistaken, you have to double-tap the kit name field (or click the datawheel) and pull up the full list of all kits then highlight the kit and along the bottom buttons should be one to Rename kit.

are any of your presets good for modern metal? There really isnít a kit in the default mimic ones that have a clicky-er kick drum or aggressive drums in general

Default mimic are all raw in general with minimal compressor effect used. On these preset, there is on few kits, bass drum frequency are toward more on click
