Help! Which VEX kit should I get for modern music genres?

Hi guys,

I've been looking through the VEX kits. There are so many choices and unfortunately I cannot afford all. I'm going for a more natural drum tone that is versatile for modern music (i.e genres like fusion/pop/rock/ and maybe the heavier metal stuff). (Not too '80s metal' or 'vintage-y')

Which would be your favourite if you had to pick one for that application?

I'm using the TD30 module. I've heard it can use the TD20 stuff as well. Are any other samples from other modules available to me?

Anything on our 20, 20X and 30 pages will work with your module. Are you looking for "produced" (already mixed/engineered) kits, or more raw acoustics?

Hmm..I would go for raw kits. If I'm not wrong, it will give me more freedom to mix in logic am I right? (:
