  • How to add pads universally??

I'm new to a Roland td30k which I have set up much like the sweetwater exclusive special edition version - which is a TD30k with the HiHat and snare from the KV. I did this through GC and they were great - so it's not really so exclusive. I also added a PD 85 and I that's where my question is. I can go into v-edit and tell the brain what I've connected and then select the sound I want it to play but it seems like I have to go through this routine for each kit in the brain. Is there a better way? On my acoustic kit, I have a set of Rotos off to my left and I am using the PD85 and a surplus PD108 to simulate the Rotos. Thanks much if you can help. I found the manual a little lacking in this particular area.

Copy the kit, paste it to another number and rename it. Then make any changes you might want on the new kit.

I would recommend using Vdrumlib. With that you can make your changes to multiple kits or all kits. http://www.vdrumlib.com/bulk_reassign.html
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! ;)
