Roland TD-11 module -- "USB device not recognized" on Windows 8

Hello guys,

I've been trying to install the TD-11 Driver for Windows 8/8.1 on my laptop, but unfortunately I could not finish installing -- Windows could not recognize the TD-11 sound module.
It says "USB device not recognized" every time I connect TD-11 to my laptop. I have followed all the steps installing the driver but i could not get through this step
The USB cable i bought is USB 2.0, Port A and Port B on the other end
I plugged it in my laptop in the USB 2.0 port.

I had a similar thing happen to me. I had to reinstall the USB driver. My laptop had two USB 2's and two USB 3's. It only saw the USB 2's. After reinstalling, they all worked.

Regarding the TD-11 driver, there is a separate Win8 driver.

I tried your tip but to now avail could it be that its a windows 8.1 bug? or could my sound module be faulty?

I can't speak for the module, but I running it on Win8.1.
