  • TD-8 mix in switchable?

Hi all, just searched for a way to switch a mix in signal to 'phones only, instead of phones and master out which is the default. Couldn't find a answer, either in this forum or in the manual. Is there a way to do this?
    Thanks,
    Jamie

Well, maybe nobodys going to come in with any help on this one. I'm not a TD-8 user but it seems I remember this being asked somewhere. If I remember correctly the TD-8 does not have this option, mix in will always go to the mains and phone, no option. Someone will correct me if I am wrong.

    Aha, found the thread: http://www.vdrums.com/discussion/For...ML/000711.html

Yep, I found that thread but hoped that there was a way to assign the mix-in destination. Ach weel, on the whole I'm happy with my V-Custom kit but this limitation, coupled with fewer outputs, ought to relieve a few folks who were perhaps unsure of their TD-10 investment once the TD-8 had appeared. The TD-8 is a less *professional* box, and as a live instrument suffers some compromises. Still, a basic mixer (those wee Behringers etc.) can solve this, from 60 ($100). I'm rambling...
Thanx for your reply, and more power to all you musicians out there!
