Does GigaSampler or GigaStudio works with Windows 2000? Maybe there is a little trick or patch somewhere?

www.nemesysmusic.com has all the specifics as far as system requirements for all their programs...
GigaSampler is not optimized for Win2000....
GigaStudio 2.5 versions and above are optimized, but only for hardware that supports GSIF..

You need Gigastudio 2.5 or above for Windows 2000/XP (upgrades are free and downloadable from Nemesys/Tascam)
As mentioned above, currently versions 2.5 and above do not support DirectX soundcards in Windows 2000, although they work fine in 98. Once they have unravelled the driver/hardware architecture in 2000/XP you can expect a DirectX compatible version.
Of course if you have a 2000/XP compatible GSIF driver for your card then go for it, it works very well. I run GS alongside Cubase VST in Windows 2000 using a Terratec card, works nicely.
