I recently recorded a conga pattern to on of my open spaces on my td10. I had thought that I could then play it as a background pattern while playing a different kit. BUT, once I switched kits, the sounds changed from the congas and slaps to the assigned sounds from the new kit. How do I keep the recorded conga sounds while playing a differnent kit? Thanks Much!!

About two years ago, a founding member named Lee posted a detailed work-around for this. It can be done, however, it involves changing the midi note numbers for the pads.

Use the search function to find this post. If you're still unable to locate it. I'll see if I can find my copy of the posting and send it to you.

      Let me know...
