  • V Drum snare on TD7Turbo?

I have a TD7 turbo as well as a v drum kit. My question is this: Can I use a vdrum snare on my TD7T? I want to use it to practice. I can live with the rubber pads for the toms, but would really like the feel of the vdrum for my snare. Any thoughts?

You can use it but the rim will not trigger.

I have just read that the VDRUM snare can be used on a TD7TURBO can you also use it on the standard TD7 - and if so will RIM also not trigger?

      Cheers.

The rim still will not trigger. I maybe wrong but I don't think so. If it would trigger the rims would trigger on the TD-10 in all the inputs not just the snare input.

          Jah, this is correct.
          PD-120/80R = Piezo/Piezo trigger
          PD-7/9 etc = Piezo/FSR trigger.
TD-10 will trigger rim sounds if used with a PD-7/9 series pad.

, plenty of , and , , triggered acoustics, , and a plethora of PA blah blah freakin blah...I mean does anyone care about the specifics of pedals, speakers, processors, hardware or anything that I'm using?? Hmmm, maybe this is an appropriate place to mention that I tried out a new cymbal stand the other day...

Maybe a ddrum snare will trigger head and rim on a TD-7?
