  • MIDI Velocity Problems

I am trying to trigger my SPD-20 via MIDI through the TD-10, however when I do this the sound is much louder when actually striking the SPD, than when the SPD's sound is triggerd via MIDI. Can't figure this one out, any ideas?

Do you use the same velocity curves?

Perhaps the TD-10 has a better spread of dynamic steps inside the MIDI standard. Don't know. Perhaps lowering the sensitivity can help.

Turn up your percusion group volume on the TD-10. I believe it is on the mixer section.

          Really? ...

I think that may have worked. The difference in volume was so slight that it was actually hard to notice.

          Thank you.
