  • Problem with hi-hat pedal sounds... :(

For some reason the pedal hi-hat sounds are very weak and they sound like crickets having sex... any ideas? I noticed that if I press down on the pedal slowly I get a sound that's more to my taste... but when I'm doing fast pedal stuff and pressing down hard, I get these moronic chirping sounds.. lol

    Anyway... thanks

Hmm.. what if I trigger an external hi-hat sound from exs24? (plz read post http://www.vdrums.com/discussion/For...ML/001069.html)

Is there a separate midi note # for the "chick" as well as other the hi-hat attacks...

    Thanks.

      Feefer,
My TD10(exp) sends five seperate midi notes for the Vdrum HiHat. ie I can assign 5 seperate sounds to the HiHat. There are:
Foot closed, Head open, Head closed, Rim open, Rim closed ...which all trigger different keys on my soundfont softwares keyboard (vienna).
