  • Roland TD9 Trigger a song through a cymbal

Just got a new Roland TD9 electric drum kit, and trying out all the technical things you can do with it.
I've managed to program each pad to a different sound, but cant figure out how to trigger a song using one of the pads, as the instructions are VERY vague. Anyone know or have any suggestions???????Reply quick before I go maaaaaaaaad!!!!!!

    pg 55 in the manual..

    press [SETUP]-[F3] (UTIL)
    press [F1]
in the utility screen you see 'Pad Switch'. You must have an extra cymbal or extra pad plugged into the TRIGGER IN AUX on the module to be used to trigger the song start/stop function.
move the cursor to AUX Head and use the value dial to select SONG START.
Then press KIT to take you back to the kit screen, press SONG, hit your cymbal/pad and *presto* the song starts!
can be used to change kits also....very handy

    hope that cleared it up...???
