  • Alesis I/O + Roland FD6

I'm getting an Alesis I/O soon and need a hi-hat pedal. The specs for the I/O state it supports variable hi-hat pedals. In looking over the other threads I've noticed that the I/O has trouble with Roland pads/cymbals. Does this extend to pedals also? Does anyone know if/how well the FD6 will work with the I/O? Thanks!

In his review some time ago, Joe_K said the FD-7 worked fine with the Trigger iO; so, as they're virtually identical internally, I'm sure an FD-6 would work just as well:

Thanks, I hadn't seen that review and didn't realize the different pedals were so similar.
