    Completely true ^^
I have found that out - some have soft sounds at low velocity, others have hard sounds at low volume - you just have to search around for the best one.

I think on a TD-6, what you hear is what you get. Some snares have more varied samples at different velocities than others, but there's no way of telling which without listening. And pitch and decay are the only adjustments (apart from level/pan).

    TD-6 snare drum options ...?

    Hi gang.

I'm curious about snare drums in the TD-6.

I dialed in snare 154 (medium1s) and although I don't care for its sound, it has really neat dynamics. If you play gently it has one sound, and a different sound if played louder. My favorite snare is 253 (L.A.) but it does not have these dynamics.

I'm just wondering how to tell which snares on the list have these dynamics. Also, can it be added to any snare? Are there any other adjustments on snares beside the pitch and decay?

    Thanks,

    Jeff
