    I don't have a td10/tdw1, but I can vouch for the coolness of the Rosewood kit if it sounds anything like the one on the td8. Probably the nicest sounding kit in the factory defaults - very versatile and can be used for a lot of different feels.. pop, funk, rock, etc

    Here's another plug for one of my faves: Rosewood... thing is, I've tweaked it so much it hardly resembles the original!! For kic I LOVE "meat" tuned LOW with a little 5-8K boost in the eq, I like med3 and 6 snares (see the kit named "TOP" for a good snare)

    any comments about good live kits to use? you know, low kick, cracking snare, thundering toms..... i just expanded my td-10, but have not got to play on it yet. i play this weekend. just wondering if anyone has any live favorite "stock" kits...or any tweaks that needed to be made...
