  • TDW-20 + VDrumLib Kits issue

    Hi all,

Just upgraded the module and wanted to apply my trigger settings. I used VdrumLib and it displays the names of the kits in "goobledegook", just weird symbols and code I have updated Vdrumlib from the website with the latest Mac version (1.1.1)

Have I missed a trick here?

    Thanks in advance

btw I did UTFSE, but I couldn't locate the info.

    is this your issue:

TDW-20 Owners Important Note about "importing" TD-20 expansions:

Please read pages 10-12 and 40 of your new TDW manual very carefully. If you are experiencing trouble "loading" your current expansions, it is because you are not "importing" them first.

    (from the vex website)
TD9+6v with Diamond Electronic pads, and cowbell.
    ATH-50m headphones, VEX packs
not to mention keyboards, guitars, basses, and cats

Thanks Saku but the problem is not importing VEX kits, the problem is within Vdrumlib.

I believe there is a more recent version 1.1.1.1 for Mac: http://www.vdrumlib.com/OSX/VDrumLib_1111.dmg

Links to the beta versions of VDL

As Bruce pointed out, you need to download the version from this thread:
          http://www.vdrums.com/forum/showpost...8&postcount=17

Also, since you now have an expanded TD-20, you need to change your module selection in VDrumLib to "TD-20EXP" so that VDrumLib will know to save the kits in Roland's new TDW-20 format instead of the older TD-20 format.
