  • TDW-20 forgot how to do rim shots

I didn't change anything all of the sudden I can't do cross stick or rim shots on the snare drum. The RIM light lights up, but it just sounds like I hit the head.

I'm using one of the new TDW EXP snares and the rim is assigned as the same snare name with an R on the end.

What am I missing and why does the brain forget my settings? Thanks for any help!

Does cross stick and rim shot work OK in other kits?

I noticed that when in the Kit menu XSTICK was turned off. Brain lapse, sorry.

After turning it back on though I've noticed that it's hard to get a click, bit usually get the sound of hitting the head and rim at the same time.

I've also noticed that the POSI information no longer changes, don't know why...
