  • Anyone have any experience with Hart Hammer triggers ?

    Hey guys ,

I was just wondering if anyone is using or has used Hart Hammer triggers , and had any info. to share on their experience with them ? I just hooked up with a set of 5 of them that seem to be in really good condition off of ebay , and am looking forward to seeing what they will work like for accessory trigger pads around my kit . I'm mainly wanting to use them for stacking sample sounds ( etc. piano , bass , orchestra hits , etc . ) to use while playing my drums set up as a standard set as far as voice assignment goes .

I've used one as cowbell for years without any problems. They're generally quite popular and reliable:

Thanks for your reply Bart ,

I've heard some good things from people about them . I noticed that they appear to be designed well and seem that they would be very durable . I have used the Yamaha BP bars , Pintech tube triggers, ddrum tube triggers , and the Pole Kats in the past and really like the size of the paying surface on the Hart Hammers. I'm really looking forward to swinging a stick at them . I'm planning on using mine for assigning GM sounds to them through my DTX module and adding some piano , bass , and orchestra hits around my kit .

Ps. thanks for the links too .

I use mine for the same thing as BarT...cowbell. It can take all the beating I can give it and just keeps on triggering...durable and reliable.
