  • Sending System Messages from TD-10

    Hi everyone

Is possible to send System Messages (when hitting a pad), from a non-expanded TD-10 sound module?. I mean: Start (FAH), Stop (FCH) and Continue (FBH) messages.
    (If yes... how?).

    Thanks in advance

    Al.

I don't think so, as the specific play/stop function can only be assigned to a foot switch. You might be able to assign a blank pattern to a pad and set an external sequencer to respond to remote control; but I believe that could only take care of start, not stop or continue.

Firstly, thanks Bruce for your reply...

I'm trying to play midi sequences on a Yamaha Mo keyboard, from my TD-10. I remember I did it with my SPD-20 before, using a MIDI cable. But, for you answer, I suspect there's no way with TD-10.

You're right. It's easy with a Foot Switch, connected to the keyboard's FOOT SWITCH jack, assigned (set) to control Play/Stop. I just tried it, and also works!

      Thanks again Bruce

      Merry Christmas!!

      Al.
