  • Stereo to Mono Adapter?

Hart told me to get a stereo-to-mono adapter so I could use my ECII Ride with separate ride & bell sounds without using up two jacks. Is the adapter really necessary? Wouldn't plugging a mono cable into the cymbal be the same thing?

    Thanks.

Yes the adapter is necessary if you are going from the Ride input only. From the AUX input you need only one stereo cable and you mentioned earlier that you wanted to use that for 2 cymbals, when you and I contacted on this issue. Sorry homes but I told you (AUX) and Hart confirmed it.
