  • Noob question: TD-9KX and a footswitch.

After 7 years of drumming on acoustic drums I finally decided to buy a VDRUM kit. It's totally amazing!
But after testing many functions I wanted to know know one thing.
Can one use a simple (e.g. guitar) footswitch to quickly change kits?
And if yes, how can it be done? What kind of footswitch would work best?
(I'm sure I seen something about it but I can't find anywhere in the manual... :/)

    thanks

The TD-9 doesn't have a footswitch jack like a TD-8, TD-10 or TD-20, but you can use a dual zone trigger pad connected to the Aux input to move up and down through kits (see Page 55).

      Thanks!
I read through the page You old me, and scanned again through the manual. I have to see how the pads actually work, maybe I will be able to get some kind of a footswitch that will appear to be a pad.

You could use a Midi control pedal for preset changes?
