I have a roland td 8. Is there a way to set up a cymbal pad, when you strike it light it is one sound and when you strike it hard it is another sound? I used to have that with my td-7. I believe is was a layering feature.

Thanks bruce
layering was a nice feature on the td 7. Especially for mono diy cymbals.Roland TD-8 Mod, DIY burgandy Mapex drums 12" snare, 8" 10" and 12" rack toms, 14" rack floor tom, 22" Bass drum , 3 cy-15r cymbals, one for the ride 2 for the crashes and cy-14c for hi hat.
