  • About Roland TD-8 [TD-7 sounds?]

    I just purchased a Roland TD-8. I used a td-7 for years.
Is there a way to transfer sounds out of my Roland td-7 to the Roland td-8? There are a couple of snare and ride cymbal sounds in the td-7 module that I like.
Roland TD-8 Mod, DIY burgandy Mapex drums 12" snare, 8" 10" and 12" rack toms, 14" rack floor tom, 22" Bass drum , 3 cy-15r cymbals, one for the ride 2 for the crashes and cy-14c for hi hat.

Songs i've recorded using my old TD-7

Don't think so. You can not import sounds or samples in to any TD series. I am sure you can tweak the TD8 to meet your needs. The TD7 did not have COSM right?

vdrummer that is correct. I don't think the cosm came out until the td-8.
